I create small-batch, limited-edition accessories which are for sale in my Artist Alley studio at the South Hill Business Campus (950 Danby Rd, Ithaca, NY, Studio 36-D). I’m usually in the studio on Saturdays, but the best way to plan a visit is to email me ahead of time.

In the studio and at artist markets around Ithaca, you’ll find tote bags, scarves, bandanas, glasses cases, blankets, pillow covers, zipper pouches, one-of-a-kind garments, and more—each made from my original handwoven fabric. I share my newest pieces on Instagram, and sometimes items are available fresh off the loom (DM me if you spot something you like!).

Alongside finished pieces, I can also design bespoke pieces and take wholesale orders. Custom projects can be woven up to 60” wide on my AVL production loom, with typical runs of 10–20 yards. Every order is quoted individually, based on fiber choice, design process, and finishing needs. Timelines depend on loom availability and access to the right fibers.

A note about pricing:

One of the most common questions I get asked is "how long does it take you to make this?", and this is a very difficult question to answer.

Every handwoven piece reflects skill, artistry, and many hours of work. Pricing accounts not only for the finished piece or length of cloth, but for the entire process: the design planning that balances color, texture, and drape; the warping of hundreds of threads in precise order; the careful task of dressing the loom; the steady weaving that brings cloth to life; and the finishing of the fabric or sewing to create something truly one-of-its-kind. Each step requires patience, technical mastery, and creative vision. My prices also reflect the costs of running a business…raw materials, studio space, insurance, equipment, professional development, marketing, website hosting, credit card fees, and more.

When you purchase a piece, you are investing in cloth that carries the value of my careful labor — heirloom-quality work meant to be worn, used, and appreciated for years to come. In general, cloth before it is sewn is $70-120 per square yard.

I love working with local wool, and my goal is to be part of the community of farmers, manufacturers, and artisans working to strengthen and reinvigorate the domestic textile supply chain.

Please contact me if you raise sheep, have wool, would like to design or sew with local cloth, or are eager to collaborate on any farm to fashion projects.
